History & legacy

The house, its origin.

Trapiche was founded in 1883 with Argentine (Benegas family, later Peñaflor group) origin. Throughout its history, the house built a distinctive identity within the Maipú winemaking landscape, maintaining commitment to quality and consistency vintage after vintage. Its trajectory reflects the evolution of Argentine wine from traditional roots to contemporary premium projects.

Terroir & vineyards

The place makes the wine.

Trapiche's vineyards sit at around 750 metros altitude in Maipú, one of Mendoza's most recognized wine regions. Alluvial stony soils and direct Andean influence define a microclimate of marked temperature swings, ideal for classic Argentine red varietals. Their specialty: Iscay y Medalla.

Architecture & visit

The space where it happens.

The winery combines production spaces and visitor areas designed for quality wine tourism. Barrel cellars, tasting rooms and vineyard views are part of a tour designed for visitors to understand the house philosophy. The Espacio Trapiche restaurant offers a gastronomic experience complementing the tasting.
