About the tours

Are your tours private or in groups?

All our tours are 100% private. Just you and your group (couple, family, friends), a dedicated bilingual driver-guide and full attention from the wineries. We don't combine groups, no rigid schedules. This is what has set us apart since 2009.

How long does a typical wine tour last?

A full-day wine tour lasts 8-9 hours door-to-door. Includes hotel pickup, 2-3 wineries, paired multi-course lunch at a destination winery restaurant, and return to hotel. For half-day (4-5 hours) we offer 1 winery + tasting.

How many wineries do we visit in one day?

The recommendation is 2-3 wineries per day plus lunch. More than 3 reduces the quality of each experience. If you want to visit 5+ wineries, it's best to plan 2-3 days. We adapt to your preferences.

What time does the tour start and end?

Typical hotel pickup: 9:30-10:00 AM. Return: 5:00-6:00 PM. We can adjust to your schedule — some clients prefer earlier starts for better natural light or later for extended lunch.

Wineries

Can I choose which wineries to visit?

Yes. We propose wineries based on your preferences (wine style, budget, premium or boutique format, food) and you confirm. If you have specific wineries in mind, we include them whenever availability allows.

How far in advance should I book?

4-6 weeks for premium wineries. 8-12 weeks during Vendimia (February-April, high season). Last-minute under 2 weeks is possible but limits winery selection. For July (Argentine winter vacation), 6-8 weeks ahead.

Do wineries have English-speaking guides?

Premium wineries always offer tours in English. For Portuguese it depends on the winery and day — request at booking and we confirm. Our driver-guide is always bilingual Spanish/English and many also speak Portuguese.

Prices and payments

How do you quote your tours?

Each itinerary is quoted custom based on group size, chosen wineries, tasting format (standard/premium/cellar), lunch restaurant and duration. WhatsApp us with your date and we send personalized quote within 24h.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept cash (USD, ARS, EUR), Visa credit card, Mastercard, MercadoPago, bank transfer. For Brazilian clients we also accept PIX.

Do I have to pay everything in advance?

We usually require a 30-50% deposit to confirm the reservation (covers winery and restaurant bookings). Balance is paid at tour start or at the end of the last day. For returning clients we adapt conditions.

What's the cancellation policy?

Cancellations more than 7 days ahead: full refund. Between 3-7 days: 50% refund. Less than 72 hours: deposit is retained because winery and restaurant bookings are already confirmed. Special cases evaluated individually.

Logistics

Do you pick up at any hotel?

Yes. Pickup at any Mendoza city hotel (Park Hyatt, Diplomatic, Sheraton, NH, etc.), Chacras de Coria, and wine lodges (Entre Cielos, Cavas Wine Lodge, The Vines Resort, Casa de Uco, Auberge du Vin). MDZ airport transfers also available.

What vehicle do you use?

For 1-2 people: Toyota Corolla or Camry sedan. For 3-6: Toyota Hiace or Mercedes Sprinter SUV/van. For 7+: full-size van. All with AC, complimentary mineral water, professional maintenance. Premium vehicles (Mercedes E-Class, executive vans) available with notice.

Are there restrictions for large groups?

For groups of 7-15 we use large vans. For 15+ (corporate, bachelor/ette parties, weddings) we coordinate multiple vehicles with the same team. We have experience with groups up to 60 people.

Alta Montaña

Do you run Alta Montaña tours year-round?

Yes. September to May with no restrictions. June to August (winter) depends on weather: if heavy snow falls and authorities close a pass section, we return from wherever is open. Potrerillos, Uspallata and Puente del Inca are usually accessible.

Can Alta Montaña be combined with wine tours?

Yes, this is the most requested combination. Recommendation: Alta Montaña first (physically demanding due to altitude and distances) and wine tours on following days (more relaxed). For 3-5 days in Mendoza this is the classic combination.

Other services

Do you offer just private driver, without tour?

Yes. If you already have your itinerary set (winery bookings made by you or your hotel), we assign a private bilingual driver who adapts to your plan. We can also help build the itinerary if you don't have one.

Do you organize corporate events or bachelor/ette parties?

Yes. We do team buildings, corporate retreats, bachelor/ette parties, themed birthdays and group experiences. We work with wineries offering private spaces, personalized sommeliers and catering.

Do you handle winery weddings?

Yes. We coordinate full weddings at Mendoza wineries: ceremony, reception, guest accommodation, transfers, photography. We have venues in Luján de Cuyo, Maipú and Valle de Uco.

Do you offer wine blending or cooking classes?

Yes. Wine blending experience: create your own blend at a winery with sommelier (3-4 hours). Cooking class: Argentine cooking class with traditional asador (3 hours, lunch or dinner). Both combinable with wine tour same day or separately.

Practical

Is it safe to walk/drive at wineries if I drink wine?

That's exactly why we recommend a private driver. Argentina has strict zero-tolerance alcohol law for driving (0%) and distances between wineries are significant. Our drivers are professionals and do not drink.

What should I wear for the tours?

For wine tours: comfortable layered clothing (cellars can be cold even in summer). Closed shoes for walking in vineyards. For Alta Montaña: layered clothing, windbreaker, sunglasses, SPF 50+ sunscreen, closed shoes.

When is the best time to visit Mendoza?

October to April is the main season. For Vendimia (harvest): February to April, atmosphere is unique but wineries are busy. Autumn (March-April): spectacular vineyard colors. Winter (June-August): fewer tourists, snow-covered Andes. Each season has its charm.

How are tips in Argentina? Expected on tours?

In Argentina tips are customary but not mandatory. In restaurants 10% is standard. For our drivers/guides, a tip of 10-15% of tour cost is much appreciated if the experience was excellent. Completely at client's discretion.

Do I need to book the wineries myself or do you handle it?

We handle all bookings: wineries, restaurants, timing, dietary restrictions, special requests. You only have to enjoy the day. This is the difference vs organizing the tour yourself.
