"Let's build the itinerary they have in mind, but let's do it well." That's the principle behind Mendoza's personalized tours: instead of following an assembled circuit, designing a day to the traveler's measure.

In this guide we'll explain what exactly a personalized tour means, what advantages it has over standard tours and how a custom itinerary is built.

Standard tour vs. personalized tour: the real difference

Standard tour (group)

It's the tour appearing on mass websites: 8–20 people in minibus, fixed departure time, same route for everyone, same lunch. Functions as packaged product.

Personalized tour (private)

It's just for your group, with comfortable vehicle, dedicated bilingual guide and an itinerary built according to your interests. The route is constructed before the trip, in dialogue with you.

For a first approach, we recommend reading our guide to organizing a winery tour in Mendoza, where we explain in detail why we always recommend private options.

How a personalized tour is built

1. Previous conversation

The process begins with a conversation (via WhatsApp, email or call). The key questions:

2. Itinerary proposal

With that information, a proposal is built. 2–3 wineries are chosen per day, lunch is thought (at winery, country restaurant, vineyard picnic) and optimal order is planned according to distances.

3. Reservations and coordination

Once the itinerary is approved, the agency handles all reservations: wineries, restaurant, hotel transfers, guide. The traveler arrives and just has to enjoy.

4. Tour day

Hotel pickup, comfortable vehicle (premium car for 2–3 people, Sprinter van for larger groups), bilingual guide accompanying all day. The flexibility of staying longer at a winery or changing plans on the spot is one of the great advantages.

Most requested types of personalized tours

Expert wine lover

For those who already know Mendoza or have wine knowledge. Boutique wineries, vertical tastings, encounters with winemakers. Focus on technique and innovation. Usually includes specific parcels (single vineyard).

First time in Mendoza

For travelers who've never been. Balanced combination: an iconic winery (Catena, Salentein), an intimate boutique and a gourmet lunch. Focus on the integral experience.

Romance and anniversaries

For couples celebrating something special. Intimate lunches at wineries with views, sunset among vineyards, coordinated surprises. Some wineries offer exclusive romantic experiences.

Group of friends

Wineries with vibe, relaxed lunch, possibility of doing a group blending experience. Focus on fun and connection.

Bachelor/bachelorette parties

Bachelor parties in Mendoza are a unique experience. Wineries for groups, sunset among vineyards, gastronomy and wine. We tell you in detail on the bachelor parties page.

Corporate events

Team building at wineries, year-end parties, incentives. Combination of activity and enjoyment. Details on the corporate events page.

Families with kids

Wineries that accept minors with proposals for kids (vineyard tours, games, grape juice workshop). Some winery restaurants have children's menus.

Most requested combinations: 2 days of wineries + 1 day of Andes Mountains; 3 days of wineries + cooking class; wineries + 4x4 in the Andes.

Suggested itineraries

"Classic Mendoza" itinerary (3 days)

"Wine Lover" itinerary (4 days)

"Family / Romance" itinerary (3 days)

How much does a personalized tour cost?

Price depends on several factors:

The cost per person decreases as the group grows: a couple pays more per person than a group of 4 to 6, which is the optimal size for private tours. VIP experiences with top wineries require greater investment. For an exact quote based on your plan, contact us via WhatsApp.
